Privacy Policy

Acron Calculator · Effective August 15th, 2026

The short version. Acron Calculator does not collect your personal information. There is no Acron account, no Acron server, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Your calculations stay on your device.

The one exception is entirely your choice: if you connect a math server, the expressions you ask it to compute are sent to that server — either Wolfram Cloud under your own Wolfram account, or a server you or your organisation runs. We are not in the middle of that, and we never receive a copy.

Who this applies to

This policy covers the Acron Calculator application published by Acron Games ("we", "us") on Google Play, the Microsoft Store and the Apple App Store. It applies to every version of the app on every platform.

1. Information we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, share or process any personal information about you.

Specifically, the app contains no analytics or telemetry libraries, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifiers and no advertising networks. It does not read your device's advertising ID, Android ID, IDFA/IDFV, MAC address, IMEI, contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or location. It does not ask you to create an account with us, because there isn't one — we operate no server that the app talks to.

2. Information stored on your device

The app saves what it needs to work, in your device's own private application storage. This information never leaves your device unless you deliberately export or back it up yourself, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.

3. Information you send to a math server (optional)

The app computes on your device by default and makes no network connections of its own. Advanced features — symbolic algebra, calculus, plotting — require a math server, and you must connect one explicitly before anything is ever transmitted.

If you connect Wolfram Cloud

You supply credentials for your own Wolfram account. The app then sends the mathematical expression you are evaluating directly from your device to Wolfram Research's servers (account.wolfram.com and www.wolframcloud.com) and receives the answer back.

That connection is between you and Wolfram Research. Wolfram Research is an independent data controller and its handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy, at wolfram.com/legal/privacy. We have no access to your Wolfram account, receive no copy of your expressions or results, and cannot see how much you use it.

If you connect a private math server

Expressions are sent to the server whose connection string you entered — typically one you run yourself, or one provided by your school or employer. Where that data goes and who can see it is determined by whoever operates that server. We are not involved and receive nothing.

What is in an expression

An expression is normally just mathematics. However, the app cannot inspect what you type: if you enter personal information into a calculation, a variable name, a data sheet or a comment and then send it to a math server, that information is transmitted along with it. Please keep that in mind when using a connected server.

4. Purchases

Optional add-ons, such as the Wolfram Cloud connector, are sold through the platform store you installed the app from — Google Play, the Microsoft Store or the Apple App Store. Those transactions are handled entirely by that store under its own privacy policy.

We never see or handle your payment details. The app asks the store only whether a given product is owned by the signed-in account, and receives a yes or no.

5. Children

The app is a calculator suitable for general audiences, including students. It collects no personal information from anyone, and therefore collects none from children. It contains no advertising, no social features, no user-to-user communication and no external links to user-generated content.

6. Your rights

Privacy laws including the GDPR (EU/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and similar regimes give you rights to access, correct, delete or export the personal information a company holds about you, and to opt out of its sale.

We hold no personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or delete, and nothing that could be sold — we have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not. To remove the data the app has stored on your own device, uninstall the app or use your platform's "clear app data" function.

For data you have sent to Wolfram Cloud, exercise your rights with Wolfram Research directly. For a private math server, contact whoever operates it.

7. Security

Math server credentials are stored using the operating system's secure credential storage rather than in plain files. Connections to Wolfram Cloud use HTTPS. Connections to a private math server use HTTPS with certificate pinning, so the app will refuse to talk to a server that is not the one you connected.

No system is perfectly secure, but because we operate no server and hold no data, there is no central store of user information to be breached.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app's handling of data changes, this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes on the relevant store.

9. Contact
